One Thing That PSALMS Up My Desire...
‘One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.’What is one thing I desire? What is one thing I seek? It’s to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. For the name of the Lord is higher than the heavens, higher than hope, higher than my dreams.
In the days of my troubles, He kept me safe in his dwelling. He did not turn me over to the desires of my foes. Even when false witnesses rise up against me, slandering me with words that are as sharp as a two-edged sword, I am still confident of this, I will see the goodness of the Lord and I will be strong and wait upon the Lord.
For I know that the word of God is active, living and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing as far as the divisions of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrows, and able to judge the thoughts and the intentions of the heart.
His grace has overwhelm my brokenness and if there is one thing my heart desires, is that I may dwell in his house all the days of my life.
