In Your courts
V1In the courts of my Great King
It's where I want to be
It's where my home would be
In the courts of my Shepherd
It's where I will find my peace
It's where my soul's secured
Pre-chorus
All the earth will shout with joy, oh Lord
Praising Your holy Name
For Your Kingdom we will shine our light
In Your courts we will..
Chorus
Dance with freedom
For You have brought us joy
Stand in Your presence, oh Lord
We sing new songs to You
All my days
You find me in Your courts
It's where I will be
Where I will be
V2
In the courts of my Great King
It's where I will always be
It's where my heart would be
In the courts of my Shepherd
It's where I will find my joy
It's where my soul would be
Bridge
Jesus, Oh, You are so worthy
Jesus, Oh, You are my Saviour

In the courts of my Great King, it's where I want to be. In His courts is where I find my peace. Blessed are those who dwells in the Lord's house. It is such a joy that we can worship God with our music and songs. For He is the Lord of music and songs...He is the Lord of all!
This song is rather fast pace and the lyrics are sort of like a declaration saying what His courts means to me and what I would do in His courts. It doesn't really matter whether it's a fast or slow song as long as it is a form of worship onto God. Thank the Lord for this song, You provided everything I ever written.
I realised that my melody and song were largely influenced based on the song 'Home' written by Marty Sampson. He writes really good songs, hopefully some day I would get to meet him and learn more about song writing as well as worship leading from him.
Putting that aside, I hope that as I grow deeper in God, He will give me my own style of writing songs. Hopefully the songs I have written will indeed be a blessing to others. All the glory to God for He is my main source of inspiration.
